heatdive reports what published studies have measured. The content is for information only and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Many of the studies reported are observational and show associations, not causes. With a pre-existing condition, during pregnancy or in case of doubt, the question of using heat and cold belongs with a doctor.
