About this event
From November until Easter the Rostock Eisbademeisters meet every Friday at 3:30 pm at DLRG lifeguard tower 3 on the beach at Warnemünde for a group dip in the Baltic Sea. The volunteer initiative, active since 2020, collects donations on its bathing days, in the 2026/27 season for a Rostock association that helps children with cancer. Companies can sponsor single bathing days with a fixed amount per person in the water. The group bathes together with the Rostocker Seehunde, a winter swimming club active for many years. Short notice changes are posted on Instagram. Anyone may join the dip or donate on the beach; only people who are fit should take part, and always with a companion.
