About this event
SaunagusOdense runs a one-day course for people who want to lead saunagus sessions themselves. It takes place at the sauna in Åsum, just outside Odense. The programme covers the history and culture of the sauna, how a sauna is built and heated, safety, fan and swing techniques, essential oils and blends, the role of the gus master and how a session is structured, with practical exercises in the sauna. At the end each participant plans and leads a gus session of about twelve minutes and receives feedback; those who pass receive a certificate. Fruit, snacks, lunch and drinks are included. The next date has not been announced yet.
