About this place

Waldsauna Müggenbusch is a standalone sauna in Lübeck's St. Jürgen district, in the green Wakenitz area about ten minutes by car from the city centre, with free parking at the door. A rustic house with a low gable roof holds a rest room with a panoramic view, a fireplace hall and a bar serving drinks, cake and snacks. There are two Finnish saunas built from Kelo wood, one indoors at 90 °C and one outdoors at 85 °C, an outdoor pool for cooling off and loungers in the garden. Sessions are mixed. Tickets run for two, three or four and a half hours, and payment is cash only. The sauna opens on fewer days in summer than in winter.
