About this place

HIMA Icebaths is a sauna and ice bath studio on Ceintuurbaan in the De Pijp district of Amsterdam. Sessions of 25, 55 or 85 minutes combine the sauna with cold plunges kept between 0.1 and 3 °C, built in the UK by Brass Monkey; a slot for the ice bath alone is also offered. In the afternoon and evening the studio can be booked as a private spa for one hour by up to six people. Guests bring swimwear and a towel, shower before every ice bath, sit on a towel in the sauna and keep noise low. Towels are sold on site. Bookings are made online, and prepaid packages and memberships are available.
