Vandkulturhuset in DGI Byen, on Tietgensgade in central Copenhagen, is a swimming centre with four pools and a fitness centre. Its Saunahuset is a large outdoor sauna house with massage stones, herbs and cold showers under the open sky. Without a membership, entry is a ticket for the Saunahuset or a booked Saunagus of 40, 60 or 80 minutes, which also covers the pools. Each Saunagus is led by a sauna master with essential oils and alternates hot rounds with cold breaks outdoors. Swimwear and a large towel for the bench are required; towels can be rented in the shop. Groups can request a private Saunagus at least 14 days ahead.
