Bølgebaderne is a volunteer-run sauna association that operates a mobile sauna owned by the City of Copenhagen at Kalvebod Bølge on Kalvebod Brygge. Between rounds, guests use the public harbour bathing zone next to it. The sauna is mainly for members, who join from a waiting list; since 13 October 2026 paying guests have three public days a week, on Wednesday morning and from afternoon to evening and on Saturday and Sunday around midday. On Wednesday evenings a gus master approved by the association leads a public saunagus. Tickets are sold online only and cannot be changed or refunded. Swimwear is required, guests sit on a towel, and children, dogs and alcohol are not allowed in the sauna.
