About this event
At the Anbaden in the Seebad Düsternbrook, Kiel welcomes spring with a jump into the cold water of the Kiel Fjord, in swimsuit, wetsuit or costume. Afterwards participants warm up with a hot drink and in a mobile sauna. The 2026 edition took place on 22 March under the motto Olympia: KMTV led a warm-up, the Wasserwacht supervised the swim, and the Jante sauna bus stood ready for participants after the dip. There was also a costume contest. Kiel-Marketing organises the event. The date for 2027 has not yet been announced.
